Stayed here for 3 days with my 5 year old daughter and have to say it was an absolute pleasure, Ezio, the owner, is warm and friendly and could´nt do enough for us.
The breakfast was fantastic, the room clean and comfortable. The B&B is ideally situated in the beautiful old city and easy to reach from the train station or airport, it really does not come much better than that!

“Perfect location in the Citta Alta”

The Bibocchio is a 1-room B&B in the heart of the Citta Alta. The owner is friendly and helpful, and will pick you up at Bergamo airport for only €10. The room is basic, but clean and spacious, with a modern ensuite, twin beds and dresser. The breakfast was good and plentiful, and you are given space to help yourself to pastries, cereal, breads, tea and coffee. The owner is flexible about check out, and we were able to enjoy a day in town before returning in the afternoon to freshen up and get our bags from our room.

The location is ideal, on a side street a few minutes walk from the central Piazza and shops and services. There is a bit of traffic noise outside the window, but generally it is a quiet spot. The funicular down to the new town is at the top of the street, and there is a bus stop to the station at the bottom. Overall, it is a good base for a couple of days in Bergamo.
