We stayed the night here before travelling to Como next day. The good part was the owner sent a driver to collect us from the airport. The unusual aspect of this very clean B&B was that there were no staff! We paid the driver in the preferable cash option and he pointed out the pre-made up breakfast trays. I had booked a double room but was shown to a twin room, but moved to the double when the driver left! All in all, cheap and comfortable accommodation. Bergamo is well worth a visit: take the funicular to Bergamo Alta, the old town, and have drink or food in the main square and people watch - very relaxing.

Guido, the owner, goes beyond in service for a typical B&B in Italy. He is gracious, informative and willing to help his guests. His free pick-up service from the train station and nominal fee of 5euro to the airport is very convenient.

The location is excellent with only a short 5 minute walk to the train station and open market. There is also cafes, restaurants and shopping nearby. B&B My Room is cleaned daily and the bedrooms are big with comfortable and warm beds. There is also a desk, couch and dresser for easy packing and re-packing.

Breakfast is good with choices of cereal, bread, yogurt, fruit, juice, etc. There is also an option for an Italian or English breakfast.

If you are planning on staying in Bergamo, B&B My Room is the place to stay; do not look any further. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone and everyone.
