A very nice small hotel, modern and stylish. Very friendly and professional staff always at your service. Clean rooms though not big , a good location, quiet street. They normally serve breakfast till 10 a.m., but I always showed up for breakfast at 11 a.m. ( good beds, sleeping sound !) ..., always found the table served for me with a good choice of meals and nice music on, it was really nice of them ! HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

I arrived in Bergano late evening after long day.
Sat nav gave up, was tired and lost, called the hotel and the lady,really helpful and pleasant stayed on phone and brought me to the door with a smile.
This is a fab property!
The style is clean and crisp with interesting aspects.
The staff are so helpful and friendly.
Rooms are so new and nicely decorated, brilliant bathrooms.
You have choice of soft or firm pillows. Really quiet, no noise from outside.
Had dinner, limited choice, but really good cooking and authentic italian, PLUS, brilliant value and a great Wine List.
Highly highly recommend it.
Shall most defenitely be back!!!

I live and work in Bergamo and recently I had to accommodate some customers from Switzerland. Bergamo hotels haven't been renowned for their tradition and style and the selection is actually modest. Despite the city beauty and history it is always been a shame for Bergamo not to have developed an equal quality in the accommodation offer but I'm sure Hotel Petronilla has fully filled this gap.
My Swiss customers were delighted by the unique beauty and style, every room has its own personality and I personally had a tour with the charming and kind Director Mrs. Uta so that I could witness myself with the quality and the atmosphere.
The price was extremely reasonable, definitely an experience worth coming back for the years to come.

I spent 2 days at this modern boutique hotel in Bergamo. From the time the staff greeted us outside to help us park the car to helping with the luggage on our departure, the service was impeccable. The superior room was spotless and beautifully appointed. As the room was available at the time of an early arrival, we were able to check in immediately. Breakfasts were terrific and we enjoyed many cups of tea in the lobby. Great staff and rooms - a perfect experience in short.
