Great B&B located at the heart of the action. 20 minutes from the airport, within easy walking distance for the old town and next to the shops. Rooms large with high ceilings and decorated in keeping with the buildings vintage. We stayed for 3 nights Highlights, Lake Como by train, station is 20 minutes walk away, the old town and the fantastic food throughout our stay. Bistro Borgo can be seen from the B&B balcony and made for a great night. My Italian is poor but the waitress picked local dishes, kept bringing wine and the atmosphere was very lively, the locals were still partying at midnight when we had to retire. Maurizio and his family the perfect hosts. He offers a transfer service to the airport and that was much appreciated and good value. Would go again tomorrow, good base for visiting Milan and Venice. Having said all that the real star of the show at Le 5 Vie is Mia, the family dog.

Stayed for two nights at Le 5 Vie B&B and enjoyed our stay very much! The B&B has beautifully decorated rooms in an old building with lots of character. The two rooms share a spacious bathroom and the arrangement works fine. The breakfast is served either in the family room or on the lovely glass veranda overlooking the terrace. Everything is home made, delicious and beautifully served. We were amazed by the devotion of the owners to the work they do and to their guests. We felt priviledged to be guests in their home.
The B&B is centrally located for exploring the neighbouring shopping streets and ten minutes from the railway station by foot. The cable car station to Bergamo Alta is also within easy walking distance. Our only regret was that our stay in Bergamo was too short!

From the time Maurizio picked us up at the airport (for a small fee),it just got better and better.
Lovely big room with french doors leading out to a very large balcony.Great breakfast prepared fresh each morning with lots of variety.Maurizo was an excellent host with lots of advice on travel eating out etc.,Best place to stay in Bergamo-close to shops restaurants transport.We will be back!

What a brilliant place. I booked it for our last night on our recent trip based entirely on previous reviews and I'm very, very pleased that I did. I just loved everything about the place from the way it was decorated and furnished, the great location, the fantastic breakfast and last but by no means least the very warm welcome from Maurizio.

Much nicer than staying in an overpriced impersonal hotel and I can't wait to stay again soon!
