My girlfriend an I were looking for a stay for a 5 day-short trip to Bergamo and found the web-page of the I-Mille BaB via google. We were attracted by the colorful and cozy design of the room, the central location and the price of 30 Euro per person and night which is quite alright.
Our expectations were exceeded: Nicola and Licia, two very helpful and friendly hosts were sharing their whole apartment with us. My girlfriend and I were a bit suprised at the beginning, but it worked out very well. Nicola gave us advise were to go and what to do, showed us the map, donated a bus ticket and was allways in mood for a joke. Licia made sure that our food was healthy and delicious. Furthermore, we could use the well equiped kitchen to cook steaks or lup de mer on ourselfs. The whole apartment is stuffed with plenty of books in different languages, very tidy, clean and colorful. We were very happy with our choice and if we return to Bergamo, I Mille will be our choice again.
