This B and B is situated on an old cobbled street in Bergamo. The owner collected us from the Airport. There are six bedrooms available to visitors. Ours was off the dining rooms which was refectory style. The bed and pillow were the most comfortable I slept in in Italy and the linen was just perfect. This was so different from staying in a hotel. It was like living in someone's house. It is the "Alte Citte" and is an amazing part of Italy to visit. It is possible to eat breakfast in the garden in the Summer. Unfortunately, it was a little chilly in the morning in October for that. However, we had a walk in the lovely garden after the breakfast and listened to the bells of the local church Enrica drove us to the railway station later in the day and was most helpful giving us information about restaurants etc in the area.

The exterior of Entro Le Mura is to say the least forebidding - however, behind the rather gloomy facade is a very pleasant place to stay which nonetheless has some rather quirky features. We had the ground floor apartment which was spacious and comfortable - although it was a little odd to find that the al fresco breakfast area was immediately outside the bathroom, which is a challenge to the more modest guest! Upstairs the bedrooms lead directly off the dining area so it is possible to sit eating with a view of someone else's bedroom . But - the garden is quite lovely with an amazing array of toys,bikes,games and dogs available to entertain. Its very convenient for the old town and you can get a residents permit to park. Very good value for money.

We stayed here for 2 nights in October 2010 in the appartment for 4 persons. There were 2 bedrooms with 4 beds and a common room as dining or siting room with a big table, armchairs and tea/coffee facilities, inlcuding kettle and microwave. The bathroom was rather shabby, but clean. We had a door into the nice gardern with an ancient well. One thing we did not like was noise form the street, from cars going up and down the stone road. The B&B is located in the heart of the historical centre of Bergamo in the medieval, charming house; nice breakfast is severved on the first floor since 7 am, but if you need it can be served earlier. The B&B is run by nice people and the dog. If you need you can order a transfer from/to airport. Just 15 Euro. Our stay in Entro Le Mura was good experience!

We booked 3 months in advance, as we would like to stay in Citti Alta. We contactede Them the day before arriving, they told us that they had made a mistake and we had no room!
They did advise us another B&B, which they told us was 2-300 meters away from Citti Alta. That was a big Lie! More like 2-3 km, we had no choice but to take it. With 2 kids at 3 and 5 the distance was not convience for walking.
