We stayed during a recent trip through Italy. Compared to other hotels we stayed in off the same star rating, this one fell short of expectations. We weren't made to feel welcome on arrival, rooms and bathrooms are in need of some work and breakfast is very limited. Our room was cleaned every day and given fresh towels. Overall decor is old and a bit dirty looking. The sun terrace is nice and offers beautiful views of the port but if the sun isn't shining this hotel isn't where you would enjoy spending time.

We stayed four nights in this hotel and were generally very satisfied! The staff was nice and helpful, the central location was perfect and the view from the roof terasse was priceless. We asked for - and got - a room at the top floor near the roof terasse and we never missed having our own balcony. There were only a few small drawbacks. Our bed could have been better (it was a bit hard and "fell down" in the middle), there was no fridge and the traffic was loud at times. However, we forgot about that once we sat on the terasse looking at the boats coming in.

All the bad recentions- shame on you! I was there when the gentleman form Talinn was arguing about the price and noone was rude to him, the son's owner just said that he didn't know anything about 75 euro, everyonecan see the pricelist, that sais 85 euro. Anyway, we stayed there with our daughter (2 years) and dog and had a wonderfull time! The room was cleaned every day, clean towels and sheets, nice personnel! Maria Tesera (the owner) and het daughter Paula were so nice to us and our daughter and the dog! I would go again next year! Thank you all for the pleasant stay!

We were looking for hotels in Rapallo late in the evening. The hotel reception told us the price for double room is 75 EUR including a breakfast and 15 EUR extra for a parking space. I asked the price once more, it was confirmed 75 EUR and took room. In the morning during checkout there was a new person in reception who wanted to charge 85 EUR, as this should be their regular price. I told about our agreed price of 75 EUR and insisted they call the person working in reception last night, whom they "could not contact". So I had to pay 10 EUR extra, which is very bad as I double checked the price during check-in. The staff in reception was extremely rude to me during the check out process. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone if you would like to have a pleasant service and holiday.
