Good location, friendly staff, interior and cleanliness - all according to the standards and expectations. We didn't have time to figure out how to turn an air conditioner on. Perhaps, it could have been as simple as calling reception. Sleeping with open windows was challenging because of the street noise.
We liked the terrace next to reception. We used it as our meeting point. It's a good place to chill out in shadows. If you walk down the stairs to the street level, the eatery on the left could be a good choice for a quick snack or drink.
I've been always curious about the bigger entrance next door to the right. Don't miss it! A unique funicular will take you up the hill. You'll find that isolated part of the city quite amasing, with a palace to be seen, beautiful panoramic view of Genova and less-touristic prices in their local restaurants.
