We spent 3 nights here September 2011; Located on outskirts of Udine with ample parking; Beautifully finished modern building with top class bathroom fittings/ furnishings; Helpful welcoming staff. We stayed over a weekend and got the impression that it caters mainly to business people Monday - Friday. However there are nice areas to sit and read both indoor and outdoor. Excellent restaurant with very good regional food and a pizzeria and gelateria. While the food and service was good we felt that there was a lack of organisation - staff casually dressed, wandering back and forth etc. Same applied to hotel - appropriately dressed staff but no sign of management, no presence in the breakfast room, cereal containers not replenished. We found Villa Premiere to be an excellent base from which to explore Friuli and despite the minor niggles would certainly recommend it.
