We stayed two nights, location is great near highway easy to find, our room was on last floor and ceiling had stains from the rain. Breakfast was tasty and varied.

The Idea Hotel is decent for a short trip for business or touring. Breakfast is plentiful and tasty, they provide news channels and the regular pay per view options, rooms are clean and spartan, but cozy. The beds could be comfier, but the most pleasant thing about the hotel is the abundance of light. The rooms, lobby and breakfast room glow with warmth if the outside weather is pleasant. One drawback is that it is not within walking distance to Udine proper so either a car or quick cab ride is necessary. I took a cab ride back to the hotel from the city center for around 20 euro. For a quick stay that is feasible. Another drawback is the lack of free wifi in rooms. For business trips or just staying connected, this is an annoyance and most hotels of this type offer this amenity for free. If you can overlook the downsides it is overall a very comfortable accommodation with expansive views of the gorgeous surrounding Friuli countryside. The service desk was friendly and helpful.

Stayed one night on business trip while driving by on autobahn. Great location right off highway and decent value for the price (good breakfast, comfortable rooms) and free parking. Internet was very slow and 3 Eur/Hr in lobby and 8 Eur/Hr in room (without Wi-Fi even) which seems a bit medieval but for one night it was okay. Very nice green room modern office building next door.

we stayed just one night, this hotel is brand new and rooms are spacious and luxurious and very clean, good equipment in rooms especially large bed. I can recommend breakfast, which consists of four main buffet bars - hot (eggs, bacon), cold (salami, cheese, ham), dessert buffet, fruit and cornflakes bar. We also enjoyed nice view of the alps. Very good value for what you get.
