This is what you would call travelling on a budget. The hotel is probably one of the cheapest lodging solutions in the western hemisphere.
Although very cheap the hostel really enjoys a 5 stars locations : it is on the see shore, very close a few hundred meters away to the Miramare castle one of the jewel of the adriatic coast. The building itself is pretty good in an old fashioned villa with pleasant garden.
There are two cons :
- the general maintenance of the building could be improved (loudy doors that wakes up the full dormitory every time someones comes in, bathroom are in average conditions).
- the hotel provides wrong information on accessibility : the management keeps saying that it is served by bus even at night untill 11PM , in realty any bus used after 9 PM will leave you a few kilometers away. It is not fair that you are imposed such a walk by night necause of wrong information provided by the staff and probably declasses from 4 stars to 3 stars.

for your information you can also consider Miramar railway stations (just a few trains per day, but could help in any case) as an alternative to reach the hotel, 6 or 7 km from city center.
