Stayed here for 1 night on a business trip. The hotel seems to be on the edge of a dual carriageway, backed on to by a railway line, in the middle of an agricultural area. Apart from the hotel, there was nothing to do except admire the constant all day drilling and banging of the ongoing maintenance work.
A taxi into Parma was about 13 euros which is a necessity.
Service was good except that when I asked to borrow an iron for my shirt as I had a business dinner to attend, I was informed that the hotel didn't possess an iron and I had to ask housekeeping to do it. I was then informed that housekeeping had gone home for the weekend (at mid day on the Friday) so the answer was no! A world first for me!
