Spent one night at the Ora Hotel on our way to our Christmas holidays destination. The hotel building is the former stables/barn of an old farm - the original structure of the part that has not been restored yet is still visible and one can appreciate the accurate work that has been done to respect the original look of the building. The staff is very kind and helpful, the rooms are quiet, stylish and well equipped. The breakfast room is tiny with nice seats built out of old cupboards, a beautiful old kitchen table as a buffet, fresh pastry and espresso coffee. the only weak point: unfortunately there is no shuttle service to and from the city centre, so you need a car to reach Parma. On the other hand I strongly appreciated that we were warmly welcomed by the staff on our arrival and they did not not request us any credit card number as a "guarantee" for drinks and snacks from the minibar.
