For a short business stay in Bologna, HC3 is a good choice. Friendly staff, free wireless WiFi, clean, modern, stylish rooms. Good cold breakfast buffet. Only snag is no restaurant so you have to eat out. Also only one english TV channel. You won't be watching TV though with Bologna to explore in the evenings.

H3C is an OK hotel. By Irish standards I would call it a very average 3 star, definitely not a 4 star. Its slightly in the middle of nowhere, at night time you must take a taxi back, slightly negating any savings made from hotels closer to the city. The air conditioning could not be controlled from the room, the room was very warm. When requested at reception to turn down the air conditioning, i was told they do not use it at this time of year!!! We had to open the window to cool down the room which meant listening to lots of street noise. There was no free bottle of water in the rooms, a staple in Ireland. The double bed was 2 singles pushed together, pet hate. No room service, hotel restaurant or bar, just a self service lounge. For a 4 star hotel I would of taken most of the above as a given. On the positive side the staff were friendly, free internet and coffee. It was a nice..ish hotel but not anywhere near as good as some of the reviews would indicate.

We were impressed by this property - it was clean, light & bright and provided us with a car parking. Our room was great and we loved the communal area at the lobby where you can read magazines and enjoy the snacks provided throughout the day. Front desk staff were extremely helpful with any queries. Initially we had concerns regarding its location but the bus service to Bologna was excellent. It was our most relaxing stay after myriads of smaller hotels & b&bs all over europe - sometimes it is great to see modernity, feel the cool of the air con and enjoy the conveniences of a new, modern and fantastic hotel.

The benefits of this hotel are many in number! A reasonably priced, modern, full-featured hotel...just a 10 minute bus ride from central Bologna (11C to get to the hotel; 11 A,B,C in front of the hotel to get into Bologna). In addition to an attentive, helpful staff, your price includes a full buffet breakfast, free 24 hr. coffee machines on each floor and snacks (mini panini, cheese puffs) all day in the breakfast room. There is free parking and free wi-fi. Oh my goodness, what a find!
