When you book, don't confuse it with other Best Western hotels in Bologna (there are at least three). This one is some 2 km outside the city centre, with rather modest rooms (it's being refurbished, but the bargain deals on Venere get you older ones, I suppose), but free parking. Good news for low budget travellers is the supermarket nearby, and the bus that gets you to the centre, is not far from the hotel.

This is your average hotel. It neither exceeded of failed our expectations. Our room was nice, the staff was reasonably helpful, and the continental breakfast was good. The city center is roughly 15minutes away by foot, which is a rather nice walk if you enjoy wandering around by foot.

I have been there for business, a moderate hotel, stuff is helpfull and rooms are good enough. make your reservation early, at fair times, its really expensive...

We stayed here for 2 nights. The staff on the front desk were always quite friendly and helpful. The room was a good size with a large window that opened and overlooked the greenery of the front courtyard which was fairly quiet.

The room itself was fine for the price although the fittings were looking a little tired. It took us about 1/2 an hour to walk into the city centre which was ok during the daytime, but we didn't feel safe walking around near the hotel when it was dark. Having said, that we found the bus service pretty efficient (bus stop opposite hotel) 1.50 Euros each way 10 mins ride into the centre - number 27A /27B.
