I live in Roma and frequently go to Life Restaurant. It has an amazing staff from when you walk in who welcome you with open arms. The food is delicious, my favorite course being the sea bream while my best friend enjoys the chicken with the homemade mashed potatoes. Definitely worth the visit if you are a tourist or local because it is in the center of Roma near Corso. Especially if you are on a long shopping trip, the best way to relax is sitting down and enjoying dinner or lunch at Life.

We ate at "Life" twice while in Rome in April 2010. We loved it. The staff and management are excellent, it is very conveniently located to the Spanish Steps and the major shopping streets of Rome (Condotti, etc.), and the food is great. As an added benefit, it is a bit less expensive that others nearby. It is a contemporary, trendy place so if you are looking for traditional decor, it's not your place. However, the food is upscale and classic and they have a great wine list. Enjoy!

This was our third visit to Rome. We went to Life restaurant after finding is a favourite on Tripadvisor. I booked it over the internet and took my husband as a suprise when we were in Rome in March/April this year. We were greeted by name at the door and seated inside. The decor was lovely and modern and the owner came over to greet us once seated. The ambience was great and the staff very attentive. The food was really well presented and tasted great. The portions were generous and there was an excellent choice of wine. The prices were not as expensive as I thought they may be compared to the normal tourist traps around Rome and we were happy to be away from the norm. I had 4 courses plus wine and my husband had 3 courses and drinks all for 86 euros. All in all a very pleasant evening with an excellent dinner and company. I would definately visit Life again on our next visit to Rome.
