Galatea hotel is an excellent hotel to explore Rome. The location is very convenient and staff are helpful. The rooms are nice and spacious. We would definetely stay there again.

Maximillian was our host and very helpful. Small room, small shower but a nice hotel right in the middle of it all. We walked to all the main sights except for a bus ride to Vatican City. Breakfast was basic but satisfying.
No WiFi and we could only find one English tv channel.
Very thin walls; bring your ear plugs.
Est! Est! Est! is a restaurant nearby that has very good, reasonably priced food and house wine.

What can i say... That hasn't been said. Had an amazing time in Rome and this hotel was perfect! We were only here for 3 nights (me and my GF) but could have stayed a few more. We were pleasantly surprised with the hotel for being a 2 star. It is DEFFFFFFF way better then a 2 star!! The old building has so much charm to it. Really makes you feel like you're in Italy. The small lift is perfect after a long day of walking when you don't need to climb more stairs lol.

Air Condition worked amazing (almost too good had to shut off a few times in night) , the bathroom was very new and super clean. Bed was firm but I prefer a strong mattress.

So close to a lot of attractions and a skip to the subway system (which was very easy to use).

Staff soooo soooo helpful and spoke great English. It was so nice to have someone there 24hours if we needed anything.

I will definitely be back and staying at the Galatea, as well as recommending to any of my friends and family that are traveling to Rome!

Great place to stay in a central location. It is exactly how advertised but better. Great staff at the front desk. Julio, one of the staff, really gave us the VIP treatment. He helped us book our next hotels in Florence, recommended incredible local cuisine, and setup reservations for us at restaurants. The room was big and CLEAN. The bathrooms were big and clean. Great location, walking distance to everything. Or if you know how to use the bus or subway, stops for both were just a few blocks away. It was in a safe area and quiet street. We loved our stay here and would stay again.
