“Just as great as the reviews say it is”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

We stayed here at the end of a three week trip to Italy. It was exactly as described in the reviews. Laura was there to meet us when we arrived and gave us an orientation which included information on the B&B, how to use the Metro, buses, a restaurant, etc. The outstanding thing was that she made sure that we understood and answered all of our questions. The room we stayed in was great. We liked be able to choose our breakfast time each morning. Breakfasts were very good. Laura was very caring and even checked on our transportation to the airport when we became concerned that they were running a little late. We found the location to be convenient - within walking distance of the Colloseum and public transportation. We would definitely stay here again.

“Wonderfull”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 December 2011

Stayed in SEPTEMBER 2011 - The best place to stay in Rome!!!! Laura is wonderful hostess and the house is abs fabulous. The rooms are very very spacious and well decorated, all renovated. The bathrooms are also big and very nice, the house is clean and it has a rooftop where you can drink your wine, next to the tomato plants that Laura cultivates. It is a house of very good taste. Laura gives you all the details of Rome once you arrive; also the house is SO CLOSE to the Coliseum... a few footsteps! Breakfast is great, also there is the subway line very close to the house and a supermarket, a very good pizza place.... everything is close by!!!! HIGHY RECOMMENDED!!! We will definitely go back to Laura's house!!!!! WE LOVED IT!!!! Paula and Marcus from RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL!

“Wonderful! :)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

After having read all these excellent reviews before staying a Laura's place, it didn't disappoint! - Laura went beyond the call of duty to my make my stay perfect. I stayed for three nights for work and it made such a refreshing change from staying in bland and lifeless hotels. Grazie Laura! x

“Bella Roma, Bella Laura!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 November 2011

We stayed at Laura's B and B on our trip to Rome in late October. I knew even before going to Roma that this host was the best. Laura went the extra step to assist us with reservations in advance and advice.
Unfortunately one piece of carry-on luggage was offloaded and left at JFK. Laura went far beyond all reasonably expectations, calling Delta and the people responsible for delivering the delaying bag. Delta did not show as arranged, and again Laura spent her time calling for us.

I felt so welcomed and comfortable in this neighborhood in Rome as well. We stayed in the room with the bath ensuite - the room on the 1st floor (up one from the street) which is spacious and the bathroom very large along with a walk in closet.

Laura is very welcoming and helpful. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone! Bellissima!

“Absolutely perfect place to stay in Rome”

My girlfriend Jade had visited Rome before but for me it was my first time and I wanted to do the typical tourist version and see all of the major attractions. The day before we left for Rome I received an email from Laura asking what time we were expecting to arrive so that she could be there to greet us personally. Usually with B&B's you would just get shown to your room and told what time breakfast is, but not here. Laura really went above and beyond her duties; before showing us our room she sat my girlfriend and I down and marked out all of the attractions on a map, told us where the good restaurants were and provided us with really helpful information about the Metro (which by the way is ridiculously cheap!).

The hotel was perfectly located, with a short 10/15 minute walk to the Colosseum. From the Colosseum it is about a 10 minuted walk to the Trevi Fountain and Spanish Steps and there are lots of wonderful shops along the way. It is then a further 10 minutes walk to the Vatican City and my girlfriend and I walked all the way back from the Vatican and we didn't really feel we had walked to far.

The B&B was really clean and breakfast was absolutely delicious. Laura really knows how to look after her guests and she is always readily available if you have any questions or queries.

I would definitely recommend staying at this B&B, Rome was an experience that I will never forget, the sightseeing was magnificent, the food was great, the company was perfect and the B&B was exceptional, best I have ever stayed in. Thank you Laura, me and Jade will be visiting again. Lots of love x
