We have booked the "Matisse" apartment during the last 3 days of 2005, and it was been a great choice!
Matisse is a very big suite (100 square meters), perfect for a couple like us who needs a lot of space (women=too many luggages).
The rooms of the apartment are spacious and colorful, furnished with beautiful contemporary art and modern furnitures! The artworks and the style of this hip villa is unique and if you want a very special place to stay in Rome, this is what you are looking for.
The villa is not located in the center, but the metro station is far just 10 minutes walking, so it is very easy to arrive in the tourist area.
We've preferred to stay here because spending the same money it is possible to book just a tiny standard room in the historical center! We love this place and we can't wait to stay at the Residenza d'Arte in Siena during our next trip in Tuscany!
