We rented all four rooms, and had the best time. Place was in perfect interesting location. Not right on the main drag but so close to everything, best coffee around the block. The B & B, or apartment was well maintained, rooms were spacious, terrace was very nice too. I think the main room dining table is a fantastic place to unwind after a day...wish there was a couch or comfy chair though.

B&B Il Terrazzino is located in a very hip and bohemian neighborhood in Rome, close to lots of great restaurants and bars. The service was very friendly and helpful to tourists and the rooms were comfortable and clean. There is a nice terrace area to hang out in, with a book or a glass of wine. Very nice B&B overall.

The location in Trastevere is perfect, with lots to do and see, easy walking and access to transportation, and minimal street noise (though it is Rome!). The B&B is extremely clean, and the rooms are large and lovely. We had a bit of trouble with the shared baths, but I guess that shared (not private ensuite) bathrooms is what makes the price so reasonable. The owner, Margherita, is extremely helpful, and made many arrangements for our family, including transportation for family members who weren't even staying at this B&B. Guests are free to use the fridge and the delightful terrace/table any time; that made it extra special, as we were always happy to return "home" in the mid-afternoon for a snack and a nap.

If you can manage the trade-off of shared baths for good price, you cannot do better than this beautiful place and this wonderful host.

I surely did have an unforgettable time. This is the real way to experience the heart of Rome.
The location is really central and you can walk everywhere. The area is vibrant, not spoiled by tourists and there is a lot to do and see.
