“Highly recommended. Great service, room, location and value.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 October 2011

Highly recommended. Kind service, great room, pleasant location and excellent value. Just had a fantastic weekend in Rome and staying at B&B ALMACROMONDO was a delight. The main “feature” is the kind and helpful hospitality shown by Roberta the owner. She made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. In addition, the room was spacious, clean and quite stylish. The location was convenient for us given that it is a nice neighbourhood and yet has convenient access to Termini Station and plenty of bus options for easy access to Roman attractions. There are some good restaurants just a few steps away too. We enjoyed La Maremma and A Casa di Alice Spaghetteria (Roberta’s recommendation).

“Perfect Location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 October 2010

The B&B is ideally located for exploring Rome. The Metro is 5 minutes walk away and only one stop from the Termini. The bus stop is even closer. A taxi to or from the city centre was around 10euro.

There are plenty of restaurants within a couple of minutes walk from the B&B and even late at night the area feels safe.

The room itself was large and comfortable with its own private bathroom at the end of the corridor. The only downside was that there was market in the street below and they do begin setting up early. But after the first night, i forgot the market was even there.

There was plenty of coffee, juice, yogharts, cereal, cakes and biscuits for breakfast which was perfect way to start the day.

Roberta was the perfect host and was always willing to try and help and on the day we left was kind enough to leave us with a set of keys so we could collect our bags in the afternoon.

Highly recommended if you are looking for somewhere to stay when in Rome.

“Great value, spot on!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 July 2010

Roberta is a warm hostess and always happy to try and help. The location is good, 5 min walk max to metro and on bus stop route near Porta Pia and British Embassy. Breakfast was bountiful which set us up for the day and place was spotless. Great room and good nights sleep in nice area just 1 block out of the main centre which was perfect for us. Recommend you also try the Monte Carlo pizzieria round the corner on Via Alessendria 200m away. Best and most unique pizza we had in 10 days in Italy.

We know where to stay next time we go. Thanks Roberta.

“Well located and budget choice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2009

From the B&B you can easily get on foot the main atractions and the train station as well. There are lots of restaurants in the surroundings. The market can be a bit noisy in the morning, so better take ear plugs. Roberta gives all the keys, so you are free to go in and out anytime. The room is big, and the bathrooms, yet on the corridor, are private.

“its OK”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2009

Compared to the other places we stayed in Italy, this is quite basic, but you get what you paid for. The room is big, but our room was quite dark and the furniture hand me down type. Even though I'm sure the room was clean it just felt dirty, because of the darkness and the furniture. It was a bit noisy at night, even with the windows and shutters closed but luckily i had ear plugs. Its a short bus ride to termini (dont bother catching the train, its a further walk and their metro really sucks). We only discovered the market down the road on our last day and got the most amazing sandwich made at the deli there. Very simple but beat any of the meals we had in Rome! The bathroom was clean (you get a key to your own bathroom) although in ours, the shower leaked to the outside. Roberta was friendly and easy going.
