“Great place to stay in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 February 2012

Great cozy guest house located in historical palace and very nice once inside.
Excellent location at the side of the main train station and the airport terminal, as well as the underground hub.
We actually walked from there to all main historic sites and enjoyed the walk through typical boroughs, to the Opera house and tasteful restaurants around.
Marco was very helpful, professional and made every effort to let us enjoy our holiday.
I recommend it as a very roman experience.

“Simple, clean and basic”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

If you traveling to Rome and you expecting heavy rain, think twise if you can change the fly, as after raining all underground doesnt work, also some of tourist attraction might be closed.
The hotel is very closed to the metro station and to the Termini station, where you can go to everyplace in Rome and have connection with airport.
Great value for money. Hotel is basic, but clean and the staff at the reception is very helpfull. If you are not booking for breakfast, you can still pay 5euro, after check in. Also remember, you will have to pay 2euro per night for Rome Tax, so take some extra money for this, as this is extra fee to pay.
The only concern I have to make, are the Italian walls, you can hear almost everythink. So make sure you taking ear plugs if you want to sleep proper by night and dont be desturb by neighbours.
Part from that you will folen in love with Rome.

“Great location, kind host, clean and comfortable.”

My husband and I stayed at Guest House Rome for 5 nights in April 2011. As other reviewers have noted, the location is very close to the Termini station, making it really convenient to get to. This is especially nice if, like us, you are flying into Rome, jet lagged and a bit confused. The rooms are spotless and tastefully decorated. Breakfast is tasty but nothing fancy ... but then again, breakfast is almost an afterthought in Italy anyways. Marco was very kind, prompt in his responses to emails, and a great source of information about Rome. I would not hesitate to stay here again!

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights. It is situated very close to termini station where you can go to everyplace in Rome. The room was small but beautiful and very clean. Breakfast was very poor. It is nice only for a couple of days.

“What a gem. Absolute value with a great host!”

Just stayed there and to be honest I dont think you could find better value in Rome if you tried.

Rooms are SPACIOUS and comfortable. Bed and furniture is modern and clean. (even if ikea) but who's cares. Basic self service breakfast with coffee is handy and the kitchen is very clean and modern.

The location - in termini is perfect and although not the prettiest place in Rome but it's one of the only that is not a tourist trap and you can find plenty of cheap eats and drinks around.

Undoubtedly the best thing is Marco the host who is very professional and friend and will go out his way to ensure your stay is the best.

We will return and I would give this place 5 stars but it gets 4.5 from us for now as the only thing it's missing is WIFI which is really handy when traveling for my personal / business emails and Skype home etc.

THANKS MARCO!
