We were sent to this location for one night when their associate guest house was overbooked. I am very glad that is was for only one night because it was a major disappointment. Where shall I start ...
The place was really far away from everything and there are no restaurants near by, the subway is blocks away and mostly hills (which is really bad when you are carrying luggage). It is surrounded by embassy's and high security bank buildings. There are armed guards on almost every corner and you can watch them pacing from the balcony of the room.
The air conditioning did not work very well, windows had huge drafts and did not close properly.
The bathroom set up was really strange. The shower was literally across a small hall from the bathroom and there was no place to dress. You had to undress and dress in the shower or wrap yourself in a towel and go to the bathroom in full view of the rest of the room. Both the shower and bathroom are located right inside the entry door so you had to time a shower when no one was coming or going from the room. They should have added a drape to the bathroom area in order provide more privacy.
We cannot comment on the breakfast because we did have any. We were scheduled to leave 30 minutes before their 'breakfast window' and they could not accommodate us despite that fact that there was no one else staying at the B&B while we were there.
It is located inside a residential building and you can smell people cooking at night and see their laundry hanging from the balconies.
The room was bigger than most of the other places we stayed in while in Europe, but not worth the price due to the inconveniences and bad location. Would not recommend this location to anyone, there are way to many and better choices in Rome...
