“Nice hotel and amazing staff!”

My elderly grandmother and I stayed at the PapaVista over Thanksgiving weekend (late November). The main purpose of our trip was to explore the Vatican, so the PapaVista was ideally situated. The rooms are very clean and the complimentary breakfast is delicious. However, the best part of the PapaVista is the incredible staff. Since before we arrived, they went out of their way to accommodate us. I emailed them a few days before our trip inquiring about a wheelchair rental for my grandmother and they helped arrange the whole thing. And when there was a mix up about the price of the rental, they called the company on our behalf and negotiated a discount. Everyone was great, but particular thanks go to David for going out of his way to be kind and help us out. I don't think I would every stay at a different hotel in Rome. Thanks PapaVista for an unforgettable stay.

“Wonderful Christmas in Rome!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 December 2011

Papa Vista Relais played no small part in making our recent trip to Rome very memorable! The staff was incredibly helpful in assisting us with all of our needs-from arranging an airport transfer, to finding us a restaurant that was open on Christmas, to loaning us a power converter-that she personally owned (after ours broke). The staff assisted us in planning our adventure through the city. The breakfast started our day right and was plentiful-it was nice to have a freshly-made cappuccino to start our day!

The location provided us easy access to all of Rome. The subway was a five minute walk away and the entrance to the Vatican-St. Peter's Square was less than a 10 minute walk.

We would certainly return to Papa Vista in the future and we happily recommend Papa Vista to anyone visiting Rome.

“Amazing staff!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 December 2011

This hotel was great! The location is excellent, a short walk from the subway station, and right next to the Vatican museum. Most of all, the staff was just amazing, very helpful! The rooms are tastefully decorated and very clean.

“A pleasent stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 December 2011

Me and my grandmother had a wonderful weekend in Rome and the staff at PapavistaRelais were a big part of it. From the nice mails from David that I got in advance to the friendly welcoming from Grazia. She showed us what she thought could be interesting for us to see and do. The room was very clean, comfortable beds and looked very new. We had a nice woman helping us with the breakfast too. All together: They helped us get a weekend in Rome that we will remember for a long time, in most positive way. When we come back, we will stay here.

“Fantastic staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

My husband and I stayed here on our last night in Rome purely to visit the Vatican, we had spent time in Rome earlier in our Honeymoon & missed the Vatican.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Great service and a warm welcome received by David on our first day.

Free wi-fi and a great buffet breakfast. The staff were happy to hold our bags while we visited the Vatican and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant.

Not a great location if you are wanting to see Rome city centre but really fantastic for the Vatican and that side of the River!!
