“Look no further for great accomodation in Rome!”

Just back from a fantastic trip to Rome. The Lt Rooms was a great place to stay, about 15mins walk to the Vatican, and only a few minutes to the nearest metro station. The rooms were spotlessly clean, the staff very helpful and friendly and was very good value for money. We loved the fact that the little kitchen was open for us to use 24hrs per day (much cheaper than buying coffee whilst out and about in Rome) and we could help ourselves to the breakfast (basic cereal, pastry, juice, tea and coffee) when we felt like we were ready for it. Was a little surprised that some of the other guests couldn't bring themselves to wash up their own breakfast cups and bowls (hence blocking others use of the sink), but I guess some people refuse to do anything when they are on holiday!
The metro was very cheap to use (we got a three day travel card for bus/metro for 11euros) but do bring a good pair of walking shoes because most of the sights are actually a little walk away from the metro stops.
If you are on a budget, avoid eating and drinking in the centre (we were stung for 2 cappachinos outside the Pantheon, for 10euro!). Trastevere is a lovely place to eat out in (very authentic) as was the Jewish Ghetto quarter (for something a bit different). We also had a very nice meal in the restaurant downstairs from Lt rooms. A set menu (of numerous dishes, plus wine and soft drinks) for a fixed price of 35euro each. Food was excellent, but if we had known that we would be eating 4 or 5 courses and at least 10 antipasto dishes, we would have starved ourselves for at least two days before attempting to eat there!).
One more tip, if you stay at this hotel and are arriving at the Ciampino airport - walk out of departures, turn right and head for the little bus stop outside the security gates. You can get a bus for 1euro to Anagnina (end of metro line) bus station and then get the metro (A line) to Baldo Degli Baldi (takes about 50mins) for 1euro. Much cheaper than the shuttle buses to Termini from the airport, and you end up only a few minutes walk from the hotel.

“It is nice place near the metro and there is parking at the same building.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2009

Good : Nice, warm, clean room: it was everything in order in bathroom. Very wellcome and helpful stuff; metro and parking is very close to location.
Bad: if you have noisy neighbours, you will hear them.

“Great Place, super staff, good location, what else could one want?”

The BB is newly renovated 18 months ago, and all is clean, and functional, in a clean and quiet, residential house. The BB looks just like in the pictures, in case you're wondering.

The Baldo degli Ubaldi metro station is 2 minutes walk away, once on, you can be everywhere you want to be in no time at all.

Breakfast setup is great, food is always plenty, and the kitchen is clean, thanks to the great staff, especially Virginia, hi Virginia!

Laundry is available on site upon request for a small cost. WiFi is free and a computer is available to all.

There is a great restaurant on the main floor, a supermarket 1 minute walk away, and a great pizzeria (www.kisspizza.it) 5 minutes walk up Via Baldo degli Ubaldi on the opposite side.

Don't hesitate, LT Rooms is a great place to stay in, away from the busy Centre, but still so close to it all!

“Great place, for great price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2009

we stayed there for a week. rooms are very clean, the place look very well kept.
the shower is new and spotless (but maybe won't suitable for a very large person).
located 100 meters from a metro 3 staions from vatican, 50 meters from a super market, and above a great & cheap resturant . the area itself is very good (not like termini area with 2 homelesses in every corner).
the place is like rooms to rent, with shared kitchen. breakfast is self sevice, with coffee toasts, jam, cheese and juice. small but satisfied.
the owner is amazing person, always smile and willing to help you with everything you need.

“Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 August 2008

This was the best place I have stayed this summer. The rooms were perfectly clean and very modern and if I returned to Rome I would diffently go back! We has a balcony in our room and although it faced a new building suit we slept fine and this did not disterb us. The onwer Luca was very plesant and Alexandra the day time assistant was very nice and left out room so clean even arranging our shoes, perfect. Internet access was free and very useful to look up tourist attractions. You could help yourself to all on offer at breakfast and there was a good variety.
The website is exactely how it is there is no surprises, pitty there wasnt more LT rooms in other citys as other places I have stayed really dissapointed me.

  • Liked — Everything, clean and friendly!
  • Disliked — It was a little far from city centre
