“Spacious and inviting in quaint neighborhood”

I stayed here for 8 days and was very pleased with the whole experience. Stefano, the owner, was very accommodating and even printed out directions for me when I told him about a concert I wanted to see across town. The room was clean, spacious, nicely lit with natural light from the big glass doors that open up onto a private balcony. There was no problem using one of the 3 bathrooms assigned to me down the hall. The neighborhood is very safe and quite, but has great restaurants, take-away (I recommend the one specializing in Sicilian cuisine close to Viale Regina Margherita) an excellent and cheap gelateria across the street and a daily indoor farmer's market just up the street. It was easy for me to walk from Termini to the B&B, but it is well-connected by tram and bus. The metro B stop is also within walking distance. I frequently walked to Villa Borghese. The price was very reasonable--not even a one star hotel close to Termini could compete. I would definitely come back if I ever needed a place to stay in Rome again.

Room Tip: I stayed in the "ethnic" themed room

“A very solitary experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 August 2011

This B&B is in a flat above shops a short bus ride from the station. The owner does not live there, but was there to meet us when we arrived. We had a very nicely decorated room with a small balcony and a private bathroom just across the corridor. We were given a big bunch of roses on arrival and there were a lot of delicious chocolates in the room. However, the experience of staying there was quite eery as the only time we saw another person during our four days there was when the maid came in the morning to dole out breakfast (eaten in our room, available from 8.35). We saw her for about two minutes. We also saw the owner again on the day we left, as we had to pay him. To our surprise, he did not take card payments. There was nothing on the website to warn us of this and obviously for a 4-night stay we had to pay quite a lot of money. Fortunately, there is a cash machine by the street door, but it would have been better to know in advance.

“very nice place good value for money within walking distance from the heart of the city”

We have stayed at this B&B for 5 nights and didn't regret a bit!
It usually took us 30 min to get from there to the very heart of Rome by foot. Also the bus stop is one block away. For Rome it's very well located and very close to Termini Station.
Our room was very neat, with some kind of classic italian decor. Also there was a balcony where you can eat your breakfast but no spectacular view just the roofs of Rome. Basically it's an apartment redesigned in B&B.
There was no problem with meeting us, we have been given the keys and all necessary info. The room was cleaned every day, breakfast was quite simple but good enough to start your day.
Also there is a very cool taverna on the same street not overpriced and very popular amid locals.
The only thing which might be not so convinient is the fact that your private bathroom is two steps away across the hall. However it was also very neat and clean.
I think it's the best option for travellers on the budget!

Easy to find, close to public transport with direct link to most important touristic places. Great value for money, very friendly receptionist, clean rooms with great housekeeping.
Close to some supermarkets, pizzerias and cozy cafes.
A perfect B&B.

“Clean & tidey. A bit pricey perhaps, but that's Rome for you...”

Reception was closed when we arrived (mid day) had to call a mobile number number to contact receptionist.
Average value for money. Well located. Tiny bathrooms. Breakfast a joke.
recently refurbished and close to local transport for main amenities. Some of the most innexpensive accomodation in Rome I've found.

Hi everyone, I am the owner of the B&B.
I feel the need of answering back to this comments that gives a bad image of my activity.
The user that makes such a comments while booking failed to inform us about his check in time.
He also failed to answer to a number of e-mail that has been sent to him asking for his arrival time
( according to laws ruling B&B, we are not supposed to have a 24-hour reception service,
that is why we ask the user to give us an approximate arrival time so that we know
when we have to wait for him ). For this reason I fell that the above mentioned comments
are unfair and ureal and that should however be delated .
Thank you for the attention
