I have liked my stay in Parioli House very much during the five nights that I was staying there. The B&B has only a few rooms and is located on the first floor of the building. It is very quiet, very clean, and also the rooms are cleaned every day. My room (a double room for single use) had a private bathroom, a television and air conditioning which functioned perfectly. Next to the entrance door there is a table where you can take a coffee or a tea (also camomille) and where you can find biscotti and cornflakes. Every morning the waitress leaves a small plate in the room with some refreshments to have breakfast. The possibility to take a coffee or tea at any moment and the small refreshments in the morning were one of the things I like most about the B&B. Further, the B&B is not at walking distance from the center (it takes 35/40 minutes to arrive at the Termini train station and the same to Piazza di Spagna), but it’s not too far away from the center if you like walking. Otherwise there are perfect bus connections (I can advice bus 62 which goes from via Nomentana to Piazza Barberini, Via del Corso, Piazza Venezia and Largo di Torre Argentina) and it takes more or less 10 minutes to arrive at the closest metro station. The area is very nice, much cosier compared to the area around Termini Station. There are plenty of nice restaurants and there is also a cinema. There were only two things which I found a little negative. Firstly, It was a pity that there was no mobile phone reception in my room. For 4 days there was only one small place, near the window, where my telephone did have phone reception. But on the last day also on that place my telephone didn’t get a signal any more. Secondly, my room had a window, but it was a window with a view over the corridor. Because of that I sometimes felt myself a little cut off from the whether and from the world outside. Except for these two small negative things, I have enjoyed my stay in Parioli House very much. Because I often come back to Rome, I have stayed in quite a few hotels/hostels/B&B in Rome. Parioli House is one of the best where I have been staying until now.
