“Perfect Location”

We just stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and it was a wonderful expierence. The location was amazing, just steps from the trevi fountain and within walking distance to so many spots. In the 2 days we did not use a bus train or taxi other than to and from the airport. The hotel staff were very nice and very helpful. We had two rooms (one was upgraded to a deluxe) They were both very comfortable, clean and I thought quite large for European standards. The beds were a little hard (but I don't like a soft bed), and the pillows were fluffy. The breakfast had plenty to choose from and my only complaint was that the coffee machine was weak. However, when we did mention this the woman working, she made us a nice strong cup of espresso. This was a last minute trip in January and we got a great rate on 2 rooms. Next time we are in Rome we would absolutely stay there again.

“GREAT WEE SPOT!”

great location-just around the corner from the Trevi fountain and 5 mins walk from Via Condoti and Piazza Novonna
a lot of these hotels in city centres are rabbit huches but not Trvi-we were on the 5th floor with balcony overlooking the busy streets below and the room was a good size-not a suite but enough room for us.
good bathroom facilities and very clean. Breakfast was usual continental buffet affair and adequate
only minus point was the TV was supposed to have some english channels but didnt (but then who needs TV in the eternal city anyway?!)

“Perfect Location !!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

This hotel was such a perfect location that we didn't mind that the beds were a little uncomfortable and the room was small. This hotel is just up from the trevi fountain just a two minute walk. The street that it is in was so pretty I would spend my most treasured moments looking out the window down the street. The gentleman at the counter was lovely, very helpful. We also found the best spaghettaria L'achetto close by. Lovely food and cheap prices. Just ask at the counter and they will point you in right direction to spaghettaria. Our room was not at all noisy. I had read I other reviews that they were but once windows and shutters are closed you can't hear a thing. Breakfast room very tiny but hey, this was in the centre of Rome. Not much space available there. We stayed four days and it was a great start to our Itailain holiday. Close to everything. We just wondered the streets and came across everything, Pantheon, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navone. There is a great little supermarket/coffee bar on the street as well, makes the best pannini for lunch and sells tooth paste or shampoo as well if you run out or miss place them like we did. I travelled with my husband and 12 year twin boys and they loved it too.

Room Tip: Ask forgone facing main street

“Terrible experience and stay”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2012

Very unfriendly receptionist who would bang the front desk counter with his fist any time we would ask him a question. Dirty carpets in the room, no blanket on the bed just a sheet (in frigid december), uncomfortable mattress, sink cracked in the bathroom and the list goes on and on. I cannot understand how this hotel can be a 4 stars. A huge disappointment.

“Love the Hotel Trevi!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 December 2011

I stayed at the Boutique hotel Trevi for my last 2 nights in Rome and it was the most amazing location I could imagine to be in Rome as a base for walking around to see the sites. The hotel was literally half a block from the Trevi fountain and in the middle of everything! The only thing I would recommend is to ask the hotel to make a car arrangement for you since the taxis are terrible and drop you off with luggage in a bad spot (guess they cannot access the same roads?) and I had to drag my luggage through hoards of tourists. The car service from the hotel to the airport that was arranged by the hotel was perfect though! Also have a good breakfast and delicious cappocino in the morning!! Great spot and not too expensive!

Room Tip: Single rooms are small but mine had a balcony, which was amazing!!!
