Our holiday here in Gaeta was everything we could wish for.
The location is great, beach closeby, very nice village, great view. Maria and Luigi are very helpful and kind.
We recommend this place especially for a superromantic holiday.

We absolutely enjoyed our short-time stay in the 1400! Gaeta is the most beautiful town I ever was in Italy. You can visit the Pirate´s Grotto or just walk along the beach...
In 1400, you have the best view of the town. One night we first had fireworks, it was the National Holiday, and immediately after that we had heavy thunderstorms. It was amazing watching this spectacle from the nearly hightest point of the headland. And breakfast on the roof-deck is beyond price...

I have a hard time finding the words to describe the great time we had there: we loved the place. Luigi and Maria do everything in their power to welcome you - they even gave us a ride to the church and beach and gave us tips and hints around the town. Great experience, we would go back in a heartbeat. How many times do you have a chance to stay in a medieval town in a home that was first built in 1400s?

Charm, charming & kind hosts, lovely rooms, perfect for walks, relax, or just watch the sky and the sea. It is the perfect destination out of season, lots to do in the surroundings.
I know Gaeta since childhood, but frankly the Millequattrocento turned it into a new experience. Instead of crowded beaches, go for history, art, exploration of nature. There are not so many places in the Mediterranean where you can see Roman sites, Aragonese castles, Norman churches and a blue sea, all within a stone throw. Luigi and Maria are polite and “simpatico”, with an inquisitive, and smiling little baby Angelo in their arms greeting you!
