I spent 5 days here in November 2011 and I recommend it to anyone going to Naples. The proprietor’s name is Rosa and she is a most pleasant and agreeable Neapolitan lady. Nothing is too much trouble for her and she has a wealth of knowledge about the local area having lived in Naples all here life. The dwelling is modest on the outside but inside it is palatial. My room was huge with marble floors and twenty foot ceilings and it was in mint condition. The room opened onto a balcony overlooking the town below and also I had magnificent views of the harbour and the bay of Naples and also straight ahead of me was Mount Vesuvius. I had the use of my own private bathroom. A continental breakfast included and all this for only 40 euro a night. The residence overlooks the city and is easily accessible via the funicular railway.
