Let me make this clear that this review is for the hotel during the San Fermin Festival. I would never dream of staying here any other time. It's very expensive during this time, but that's to be expected. It's right in the mix of things so you don't have to wander far from the action to get home (or use a restroom). Note that it's not quiet, although when the balcony door was shut, I had no problem sleeping. Our balcony did look over a street that was a very popular restroom for the boys. We weren't easily offended so this wasn't a problem and actually gave us an opportunity to partake in the tradition of squirting them with sangria. Lots of fun! Overall, it's a decent, clean hotel with everything you will need if you want to live it up in Pamplona during the San Fermin Festival.

“this place smelt bad”
the only good thing was that it was in the heart of the city. beside that room had a very bad smell and staff member were rude and impolite

“Hostal Arriaz y Pamplona in the center of the city”
This hotel had a good location. It was generally clean and adequate. We were there during San Fermin, and it was a little expensive (although that is quite common).
