Not a lot we can add to the previous reviews. My husband, daugher and I stayed for 4 nights and were made to feel so welcome, nothing was too much bother. The owner regaled us with stories of the neighbourhood, my husband and I met here in 1963, we got the lowdown on restaurants which still existed and how he'd taken over his mother's hostal 7 years ago and renovated it. I must say a really good job, as one who remembers living here in the 60s!
The entrance is a bit daunting, that hadn't changed, but once you get in there it's very comfortable, we had a superior room overlooking the square, always plenty of life, the Municipal Police station there's as well so a very safe area.
The reception were extremely welcoming and helpful, nothing was too much trouble.
