We went to Madrid for a week at New Year's and had a great time! Hotel Meninas is beautiful, and the free breakfast was gorgeous. Everything was beautiful, and the staff was wonderful. I cannot express how pleased I was we stayed in this hotel. The location was perfect, and the street was quiet.

The only slight negatives were that the free internet only really worked in the lobby, but I just checked my email and Facebook when I left and arrived every day anyway. We were in a junior suite, and our separate bedroom had twin beds pushed together instead of a queen. But it was not a big deal, and the size of the junior suite was impressive.

We were all happy with the amount of space--it was my wife and I and our 12 year old, and everyone had more than enough room. Great hotel.

Great little hotel in the middle of Madrid. Our room was a comfortable and clean with great bathroom amenities and friendly staff. Would recommend to anyone travelling to Madrid.

Really quite a charming little place. Rooms were good sized (I shared a sort-of Jr. Suite with 2 friends), comfortable, clean, and attractively designed. Excellent location, close to transit, museums, tapas in La Latina, and pretty much everything you could want in central Madrid. I will say that the price was at the top end of what I would pay. Not terribly expensive, but I would not pay this much if I were covering the whole room myself.

Front desk spoke perfect English and were very helpful.

Great location to explore heart of Madrid by walk – including such gems as Royal Palace, Plaza Mayor, Puerto del Sol, Gran Via etc. A minute walk from nearest subway station.

Reception desk personal was kind and professional.
Room was small but clean, linens were perfect.
Bathroom well equipped.
Hi-speed internet in room wired only.
Hotel offered complementary gym, unfortunately inconveniently to use.

Good refreshing would be strongly recommended, otherwise this is best price/value offer.
