We stayed at Plaza Mayor Deluxe apartment for almost a week and what an amazing place!. We felt like locals every time we pulled out the key to open the main door of such a fantastic historical great location". We didn't use the kitchen facilities at all just because we were surrounded by so many places to eat. We had breakfast almost every morning in the "Museo del Jamon" and at the bakery just at the corner of calle Mayor and Puerta del Sol. But we specially enjoyed the Mercado de San Miguel, very nice atmosphere. The flat itself is the attic floor of a building built about 400 years ago ordered by Felipe III, who´s monument is in the middle of the square, Plaza Mayor, probably Madrid´s most famous square. It is a very large one bedroom apartment with views to both, plaza Mayor and a side street. The views from the side street were just breathtaking. I imagined my self being an artist, a bohemian soul back in the period enjoying the sunrise and sunset lights reflected on the roof of madrid. The tiles of the roofs, their alignment, just blowed my mind away. Anyway, about the apartment: very sunny, lots of windows, in perfect condition, clean, safe, elevator, internet, wooden floors, large living room and dining space, great bedroom with views to the square with a balcony to step outside. This place has a lot of magic!. We were thrilled when we opened the door to the apartment and saw that this place was going to be our home for a week!. We highly recommend this place.
