“A bit shoddy service at first, but...”

This is the fifth stay I have had at this property in the Salamanca area in Madrid. The rooms are modern boutique chic, and this time we got the SUITE AMARILLO with a large balcony, and sitting room overlooking Calle Goya...despite the shock that we almost lost this room which was almost given to another person who checked in a few minutes before us....we showed them all the email specifying the room with pictures but they said that the people had already checked in...all I countered is that we are staying 10 days and we are three people, so that is why we booked that room...they sorted it out after....
Location wise its right across Line 2 of the Metro, and leisurely walk to Puerto de Sol.
Good value, but they are a bit shoddy in the fixing the rooms!
