“Spacious and Affordable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011

Having come from a TINY hotel in Barcelona the Hotel Husa Gran Via was almost perfection. The room was spacious and well-appointed. The furnishings were a bit dated, but for me, I prefer space over updated bed covers.

We parked on the street and didn't have any problems.

The hotel is located on a rather busy street but we did not encounter any street noise. The beds were comfortable, the staff was accommodating. I will stay here again upon my return to Logoño.

“Nice Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

The hotel is situated in the city centre and provides free wifi. The room was very clean and everything was new or well maintained. I would definitely suggest it.

“Reasonable hotel for price paid”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 September 2011

Car park is underneath hotel and accessed from rear of building. Driving in the car park is quite challenging if you have a large car, due to lack of space between pillars.

Booked a triple room for myself, my wife and daughter. One arrival in room, noticed that three single beds had been crammed into what was already a smallish room. Had no option but to pay for a separate single room for our daughter at quite a significant cost.

Walk in shower in bathroom did not drain properly. When I complained was told that there were no maintenance people available over the weekend and the drain could not be unblocked until the Monday. Was offered another room, but decided not to accept it as no double beds available.

Staff in hotel otherwise friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was OK and was included in room rate. Hot selection was only just warm though.

Location is very good.

Excellent Japanese restaurant (named Miyako Teppanyaki) about 50m from the hotel. Great service and reasonable prices.

Fantastic outdoor swimming pool complex (with a few large slides) about 15 minutes walk from hotel - well worth a visit on a hot day.

Generally hotel could benefit from a revamp, but if you think of it as a good 3* hotel, rather than the 4* official rating you will not be disappointed.

“Grand Time At Hotel Husa”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 August 2008

This is a modern hotel about 10 minutes walk from centre. You can also walk in 20 minutes to a wonderful sports centre with 3 outdoor swimming pools and tennis courts and lots of other facilities, though you'll have to pay 6.40 Euros for entry, not bad.

The hotel's rooms are nicely appointed and the bathroom is all marble and quite sizeable. We were on 8th floor but the hotel has two lifts.

Breakfast is extra, about 6 Euros, and is a substantial buffett, including scrambled eggs.

There is no parking at hotel but right next to it is an underground public car park and we had no difficulty parking there and it seemed secure and the price was reasonable.

If you are into modern, clean hotels, this is for you. Would definitely recommend.

“Logroño, small city, smart hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 September 2007

I stayed two nights in August. The city is quiet in these days, well not in nights when you can find lot of people in a street called Laurel (where a lot of "pinchos" can be eaten for low prices).
The hotel is in main street Gran Via, close to the city centre (10 minutes and you are in historic area). The hotel met our requests and we were sent to a room in the seventh floor. The room was not very large but it was ok. Everything correct and peace at night. We get an offer where breakfast was included and the breakfast was very good and with a lot of variety. We also got some tickets for an exhibition about La Rioja. I rate this hotel above average in order to give a good mark but I have to recognise it is worth as 4 star hotels and what you get is the minimum I expected for this type of hotels in Spain. The point is I got it, so I was happy!!
