This AC hotel is a great value and a pleasure to stay at. The rooms are modern, clean and very functional. Free mini-bar great, also the Christmas special- 5 euro breakfast what a deal!!! The staff was great and was helpful in suggesting good restuarants and day trips. 10 minute walk to the center through a really nice residential area. Girona is a beautiful city-very upscale and clean and several nice side trips. Thank you AC!

Loved the location - medeval town at your feet, fresh air, far up and away from exost gases, waken up by roosters, amazing view...
Very modern, though wear and tear started already show up (low-end finishes?), such as scratches on the furniture, some small holes in curtains...
Nice touch - free mini-bar with drinks..
Did not have breakfast with them, just had coffee - which was good but expensive..
Yes, going uphill may be difficult for some less fit. Consider that prior to booking...

Nice hotel, but do not think it is worthy of a 5 star rating. Black out curtains a bit moth eaten and sound proofing leaves a lot to be desired, a bit noisy in the corridors. Nevertheless a very pleasant stay. As everyone says the hill can be a bit of a challenge, but does get easier with each attempt! The terrace is an extremely pleasant area in the evening, the views are really great. All in all a very enjoyable few days.

The hotel is modern style, very lightly and clean. Rooms are well furnished and clean, free minibar included (juices, coke, fanta, water).
Unfortunately the breakfast is expensive (around 16 euros) and the restaurant menu is minimum 25 euros.
The hotel is placed on the hill and near the city center...you can walk till the center then but you have to "climb" the hill for coming back to the hotel (high road inclination!!).
Free Parking available in the hotel.
