Great hotel in every way. The amenities, service, design of hotel and the rooms plus the location was perfect. No hills to get there and we had free parking across the river, a 5 minute walk.
Hiighly recommend this hotel to enjoy Girona.

Our room was lovely, the staff was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. And as a bonus they spoke fluent English. The staff seemed genuinely interested in our having a perfect visit, and made lots of great recommendations for seeing the city, eating, shopping and visiting the Costa Brava area. Our suite was lovely, and had a fantastic view. Old Girona was very quaint and interesting. Lots to poke around and see. We used Girona as a home-base for day trips to the coast and Figueres, and it was perfect. I would highly recommend Girona and the Hotel Llegendes.

My husband and I have just come back from Girona, we stayed for five days at this gem of a hotel, the staff were lovely, the room was beautiful and had the most amazing shower!! Complimentary drinks are waiting for you (think it was sherry) and a small bowl of mixed peanuts which we welcomed as we were starving by the time we got there. The hotel is in an excellent location with plenty of places round about for eating or just sitting with a wee drink watching the world go by, as we did most of the time. Could not fault the hotel in any way, only thing I would add is that the items in the fridge are not complimentary as some of the reviews state, we used 2 bottles of water and were charged for them when leaving, so watch out if your tempted!! If you can, travel by public transport to and from the airport because the taxi was really expensive and it only cost 4 euros for the bus. Just head to the bus & train station if you fancy a day out, there are loads of different places to chose from.

All in all we had a great holiday and Girona its definately worth going to see and dont forget you have to kiss the lioness on the bottom before you leave to make sure that you will return to Girona!!!

Hotel Llegendes is perfectly located near the Cathedrals and shopping districts in Girona. We went there to cycle and see some of Spain and we were delighted with the cycling, the friendly people and the beautiful scenery.

The Hotel works closely with BikeBreaks (see http://www.gironacyclecentre.com/). Dave and Saskia run the cycling shop and are 20 m from the Hotel... they rent great bikes (Canondale 6 Carbon) and provided wonderful and friendly advice on routes and distances. It was some of the best cycling we've experienced ...better than Mallorca.

Hotel service was excellent and friendly. We'll definitely return!
