We stayed at the apartments for five nights between Christmas and New Years.

First the good--the apartment itself was nice with two bedrooms and two baths. It is clean and fairly modern with a compact kitchen that is great for breakfast and simple dinners but with only two burners and no oven you should not get too ambitious. It is also nicely located near to the Ramblas.

Now the bad. We were on the fifth floor but both my wife and I were woken up constantly between 1 and 5 AM by various drunks passing yelling, singing, etc. This happened every night so I do not think this was just a holiday item. They also pick up the dumpsters out front including the one filled with glass just about every morning between 4:30 and 5:30 in the morning.

So, despite a nice apartment I would never go back.

I arranged for a girls weekend to Barcelona and I'm so glad we chose the Caputxins as our base.

Six of us shared the apartment, and there's plenty of space, great kitchen and balcony. All of the furniture, decor and equipment is very new and modern. There are 2 bathrooms with powerful showers. Though do watch the hot water if you are all trying to get ready to go out together.

We arrived early and were able to check in straight away and simiarly on departure we could keep our room until 2pm which was really handy. Also, we kept our cases until 6pm at the offices nearby. Christopher, on reception, is really helpful.

The apartment block is just off of the Ramblas, so is in an ideal location. Only downside we found was it could be a bit noisy at night with other guests returning to their apartments.

We had a fantastic time in Barcelona and would definitely recommend the Caputxins as a very comfortable base.

What a gem- apartment was fabulous...the staff was very friendly. We arrived early and checked out late and they were only happy accomadate us. Can't say a bad thing about the place. Very centrally located on a side street off Las Ramblas- across from Hotel Gaudi. Would highly recommend!

I booked 3 apartments for 2 nights at the Rambla dels Caputxins Apartments in Barcelona and I could not have been more pleased with them. They were in an excellent location on a side street off La Ramblas so it was a perfect central location. The apartments were spotlessly clean and modern. Two of the apartments had balconies and the third looked out onto the road which was a little noisy but not enough to keep you awake at night. I would really recommend this accommodation and I will return here in the future. I booked with come2bcn.com and it was reasonably priced too!
