We arrived for one night following an exhausting week at Benicassim Festival. The hostal itself is basic but has lots of character. We were given a large room for 3 with our own sink and a shared toilet/shower. The room was a good size with a large window with an amazing view of the street. (Highlight of our stay!).
We found the staff to be friendly, little English was spoken but the man was nice. We didn't know the area well so spent alot of time walking around but we soon realised the hostal was in a very good location, close to las ramblas but also with other bars and resturants a bit closer.
Overall, perfect for one nights stay. Would definitely go back and would stay for longer.

“Worst experience of my life”

After arriving at this drab, dirty building we were shown to our room which didnt even have a doorhandle!!! Our room contained three beds two of which where as hard as a plank of wood and one which was broken. One look at the sheets told us they hadnt being washed or changed in weeks!!! We then had a look at the bathroom which we could smell before we saw it. It was absolutely disgusting. Filthy dirty, no toilet roll, broken tiles, smelly....
I know this is a really cheap place to stay if you are backpacking etc but it is so dirty and rundown it really isnt worth putting your health in danger for.
