We stayed here in April 2011 and had a great trip, we were advised not to stay too near the La Rambla as it very noisy at night so looked for a hotel north of the Diagonal. This turned out to be a good thing as the hotel was well placed for getting into town as well as walking distance from some very good restaurants. With the Sagrada Familia 10 mins away you really are in the perfect location for a weekend in Barcelona. The hotel itself is situated on the second floor with some steep & narrow steps to navigate, but once inside its a peaceful haven with a shared communal area and balcony overlooking the road. The rooms are not the biggest but all have bathrooms and are well fitted out with everything you could need. The hosts are welcoming and very helpful allowing us to leave our bags till mid afternoon so we could shop all morning! we will defiantly be back to finish off the visit as we only managed to see the basic bits of Barcelona.

The service in this B&B was 5 stars. Breakfast was great and generous and the owners of the place were of great help and super friendly, which made our visit incredibly pleasant! Rooms were super clean and nice. Location was great, away enough from downtown to avoid to much noise and the hordes of tourists, but close enough to be at the center of Barcelona rumba in 10 minutes (walking or less by metro).

my partner and i spent 6 nights at Nisia B&B and we couldn't have been happier! The location of this little B&B is EXCELLENT, just a short stroll away from 2 metro stations (Diagonal station and Fontana station) and within walking distance of Plaça Catalunya. Many other sights are easily accessible via metro/bus. We planned our vacation around many tripadvisor.com recommendations (e.g. dining) and were very pleasantly surprised that many of the restaurants were also within walking distance (10-25min walks) from Nisia! Our hosts, Alex and Carina, were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful and were a real pleasure to deal with. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and were always kept immaculately clean. A simple but filling breakfast was provided every morning (muffins, toast, ham & cheese, fruit etc). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nisia B&B, and are 100% certain we'll be staying here again during our next trip to Barcelona. Thanks so much Alex and Carina =)

My stay at Nisia B&B was great. I couldn't have asked for anything better. The hosts Carina and Alex were wonderful, so helpful, friendly, and welcoming. Their B&B is located in a perfect area, it's not as loud nor as hectic as La Rambla, but in a still in a very 'happening' area of town, close to three main metro points that could literally take you almost anywhere in BCN. Their rooms were cozy, and immaculate. Beds very comfortable and everything kept nice. It was a nice addition to be able to store food in the fridge (unlike most hotels/B&B's), and although 'cooking' is not allowed, there are plenty of cafes and restaurants around. It felt like 'home' away from home. Thank you guys for everything!
