Would definitely recommend staying here, hosts were fantastic and location was great! Breakfast was lovely and would definitely come back to stay here again.

my girlfriend and I stayed at Ally's last year (I have only just staretd using tripadvisor so am reviewing places rather late). The guesthouse is in a good location and is very clean and has a really nice atmosphere. The decor is good throughout. Our room was spacious and clean. We had a private, non-en-suite bathroom and this was clean and adequate. The breakfast was good - nothing particularly special, but more than adequate. Overally the guesthouse is clean, smart, good value and in a good area.

Unfortunatley I got really bad food poisoning at a restaurant on my last night - I felt so ill that I could not make my flight and had to go to hospital. My travel insurance co' were useless at finding a pharmacy / doctor / hospital etc (almost all were shut on the sunday that I was ill) - the owners were fantastic though - they were so, so helpful and called doctors, taxis, went to the pharmacy etc. They were an amazing help and made my life so much easier. It says a lot about the guesthouse that it is run by such a kind, helpful owner.

Excellent guest house right on a main road and metro network, convenient for travelling all around the city.
Guest house was very clean and tidy, with rooms cleaned daily. Breakfast was a little repetative (I stayed for 5 nights) however, plenty to go around and a good variety. Only down side to breakfast that there was no 'hot' option with eggs, sausages etc.
To keep costs low, we purchased food and drinks from the local shops, there was no problem with us using the kitchen and fridge facilities.
You are able to use the PC for web browsing, handy for finding good restaurants!
Only down-side was that there wasnt many good bars/restaurants right on the doorstep, you have to jump on the tube, and our 'double bed' in reality was two singles pushed together!
Strongly recommend buying a 5 day tube ticket for unlimited travel when you arrive at the airport!
Would definitely stay here again!

I recently stayed here and it was was easy to walk to everything in Barcelona--La Rambla, Barrio Gottico, and even Barcelonetta Beach. Graziela is very helpful with maps and good places to eat. The room was very clean and we has a great view of Sacre Coeur. I would definitely stay here again as it also seemed very safe and quiet!
