Please do not think I am very exclusive or anything i've stayed at hostels and had better a way better time than this one. I can stay almost anywhere and be happy but this just plain out sucked! I booked with my friend this apartment. Well I do have to say it was a small apartment that had to be shared with other strangers which i never met , only heard on the other room, That is ok for a typical hostel but they did not charged the same. They offer airport pick up for like 45 euros per person. A spanish couple picks you up and they take you to the apartment. Way over priced. They take you to a shady apartment in a residential area not near a big boulevard or anything and make you sign some release forms saying that you will not make a lot of noise after a certain hour and a bunch of rules that leave you scared of walking around in the apartment. They make you leave a deposit of like 100 euros and tell you that they will return it after your stay or send it home trough mail. They sent me 14 dollars trough western union and charged unknown fees. When I wanted to go out at night I walked a lot of blocks in dark streets and risked being possibly robbed or harassed in order to take a cab. Barcelona its awesome, but please stay somewhere else!!
