This hotel was booked thru a conference we attended & I was a little leary after reading reviews here. We ended up thinking it was a great place to stay!
It was quiet despite being on a busy street, close to the metro & easy walking distance to some of the Gaudi houses, shops & restaurants. The metro was right at the corner. They served a great breakfast every morning and the staff was polite & helpful. The room and bath were roomy & comfortable. I would have no qualms staying here again!
Yes, it was a little outdated & the beds were a little hard, but we didn't feel these things were at all detrimental to our stay

It was ok for Barcelona. We walked a lot, took cab a few times and used subway twice. It was hard to find a grocery restaurant near by. There was not any nice restaurant near by. We wished it was a little bit in the center of tourist area. Anyway hotel room was bi enough for the money. They make really good coffee at the lobby bar. We watched other buildings from our window. It was real Spanish life that we could see from our room. Hanging their laundry to their balconies , eating for hours, going out every night. The bed wasn't good. Bathroom was ok. There is a bar near by that you can sit and drink with locals.

Stayed here two nights as part of a package, and was extremely please. Rooms were comfy and quiet with all mod cons and the breakfast was absolutely superb. Staff were helpful and friendly also, spoke impeccable English. Location was great, metro station approximately 30 seconds from the hotel. Would stay there again without doubt

Hotel lobby looks quite elegant and modern, if you like the sterile type. The rooms are small, we were a group and at least two of the rooms didn´t have AC that worked or mini bars that were in function. Bathrooms were not fresh, and the floors were quite old and marked.
I also noticed in my room something that looked like blood stain in the bath tub - didn´t want to look too close.....
No elevator to the top floor.
The hotel is situated quite close to a central metro station wich gives you a good opportunity to get out of the hotel fast....to the places you want to see.
Ordinary breakfast.
