Coming from another Seville hostel, I thought this one paled slightly in comparison. Reception was helpful when we asked questions but didnt really feel a warmth of welcome when we checked in. However, one of the younger lads at reception (this French guy), was really nice as we striked up conversations and chatted about the city and stuff. Location was good and the rooms were clean. However, two common showers might pose a problem though we didnt experience it as we checked out the night when a group of at least 20 students checked into the hostel.

The staff were very helpful and outgoing. The facilities are good for a hostel. The kitchen is small but located next to the common area so it's easy to spread out and meet people. Maybe I got lucky but I was placed in room, and given a bed, furthest from the central part of the hostel where the chance of having less noise was the largest. Barcelona is a night life town and this hostel provides opportunities for having fun. The location is convenient and in a reasonably secure but not altogether clean area.

Had the best experience here, the way the dorms are set up around the main lounge, kitchen space, create a wonderful environment to meet fellow travellers. Close to Las Ramblas and great value for money.

I had a great stay at Albareda, Guiti and her daughter went out if their way to assist us in making our stay in Barcelona a memorable one! The hostel is centrally located, I would highly recommend this place!
