I have travelled the world, staying in numerous first class hotels. This one would be in the top ten without second consideration. The interior decoration is modern, frivolous and unique. The bathroom was exceptional. The decoration was fit for a heavy pocket (eg tiles), exquisite quality and this was reflected throughout the bedroom and ensuite. The bathroom boasted mirrors everywhere for the vain customer (like myself) and a bidet, catering for the less constipated tourists (my sister). The breakfast had very reasonable times which allowed for a late wakeup if desired (10.30am).
We went in early august 2009 when one would think the hotel pool would be bustling with hot, constipated tourists. However, my sister and I were pale. We could have claimed the pool as our own because there were sporadically other human beings enjoying the sunshine at the poolside. Very nice! Relaxing without screaming children.
The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, always taking the time to say a quick 'bonjour' in the morning. This made the hotel feel personal. What can I say about the cleaners? Nothing would seem enough. They cleaned the room daily, attending to every crack. Amazing.
Overall, top quality and a very reasonable price. No words would seem justifiable.
