Very definitely a postgrad university residence but what a residence! Huge stone walls and rooms off a galleried quad. Breakfast functional if there at right time. Porter's lodge (otherwise known as check-in) is usual university type. You may have to enjoy official musical entertainments in the quad at very late hours. Room has bath/shower and single bed(s). Not ideal for small children or the infirm but it is do-able with a bit of common-sense and determination to find the lift. Common-room, internet and general food very good. Hot water and heating work.
