This hotel is old style but modern. Rooms are good size with good bathrooms. The hotel is 'grand' but not pompous and the fixed menu is stunning value. For 2 meals (menu del dia) including a bottle of wine we paid 25 euros. Not haute cuisine but excellent food, beautifully presented. A very good breakfast buffet - but at 12 euros it would keep you going all day so missing out on the local tapas bars. Once you realise that the reception staff do - in fact- speak English and French as well as their native tongue you will have little trouble communicating. They were very friendly and helpful
