I book this hotel through one of the hotel website, we had a promotion price. Just amazing with this kind of price you get a great hotel.
Location is superb, from bus station is a walking distance, from airport or train station, there's bus and tram (saw it bus direct to this area from airport)
Staff is awesome, we don't need to ask, they serve us like a king and queen. all the information is provided, map and the food location. free wifi too.

I booked a 'pink' room on Hesperia website and was looking forward to the 'package'. Check in was very quick and professional/friendly. Although it states on the website that pink rooms are only non smoking the room I was allocated stank of smoke when I entered the room and as ashtrays were provided it was obviously a smoking room. The brochure stated that there were surprises in the fridge/mini bar for me 'a cooling eye mask and some healthy snack bars/yogurts - however it did not. The special pack of bathroom goodies was filled with handy sized creams/deodorant/emery board/conditioner etc. A robe/slippers were also provided. They also offer a 'pillow' menu on the website when booking and I chose a theraputic pillow. Again this was not in the roomThere was no womans magazine as stated on the website and the bathroom scales did not work. The safe was also not working. I rang reception to ask for a non smoking room as requested and was told there were no 'pink' non smoking rooms available and that on checking with the director certain items of the pink package were no longer included. I asked about the pillow and was told it would be sent up. A member of housekeeping arrived to spray the room to get rid of the smell of smoke. The same lady returned with the requested pillow and almost threw it at me (obviously very happy having to come to the room twice in 10 minutes). What is the point in advertising this package and then not delivering on it. The one item that they failed to advise me of and that I picked up when double checking the website to see if I had got the details of my booking right was that right now until December contents of all minibars in named Hesperia hotels are FREE... I had to again contact reception to ask if that was correct and they confirmed it was. The contents however were not very exciting although I did use the 2 350mls bottles of water and a kit kat.

The room was for single use although it did have a double bed. The furniture was well worn with the oldest looking tv set I have seen in a hotel in ages. The bed was indeed comfortable.

The hotel is situated near the bus station - so if you take the bus to Bilbao from the airport it is just a short walk away. It is also located just across the street from San Mames, so if you like football it's awesome. If you don't, don't worry about noise, you wont hear it inside the hotel and no need to worries about the crowd either because after the game, the crowd walks away in a different direction. I stayed in the hotel during the Bilbao festival so it was a little noisy at night. There was a concert across the river every night starting at midnight. So if you are for an early morning or very uptight about this, you shouldn't stay here during the Bilbao Festival. The hotel itself is unbelievably clean. The staffs are very nice and is able to speak English. The rooms are fair size, clean, comes with a fridge stock with drinks. There is also TV, wake up calls etc. Nice size window. Good views of the river. and very comfy beds. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. It is 4 stars and cost only about 50 euros a night. Great little hotel

Stayed here after getting the ferry to Santander. Good car parking facilities and breakfast quite adequate. Easy to drive to after coming off the main motorway entrance to Bilbao.

Really close to amenities (especially Guggenheim). Rooms were clean and staff knowledgeable. Would definitely stay there again. Had a great view of the river!
