The free wifi is what brought me to Hotel Carmen. Overall the hotel was very good with breakfast being excellent. The room was small as expected in Europe, but clean and comfy. The hotel is set back from the road so street noise was not a problem (although it was winter and the windows were closed). The staff was very helpful.
The only down sides were it's a bit out of the city center, although an easy S-bahn or U-bahn ride a way. The walls were thin and I could hear my neighbors. Luckily I only had one neighbor and they matched my schedule, but this could have been very bad.
